Akvatop acrylic water dispersion paint

Аcrylic water dispersion paint. Due to high flexibility of the film it is prevented cracking and peeling of coating after weathering. Coating provides long-lasting protection. Contains fungicides for reliable wood protection against mold, algae, etc ( during 8 – 10 years ).

Recommended uses :

Intended for painting wooden facades and other outdoor wooden surfaces. Suitable for finishing both new, previously unpainted, as well as previously painted wooden surfaces with semi-transparent alkyd paints TEKSTURDEKOR or TEKSTURDEKORS AKVASATIN, as well as with oils intended for wooden surfaces such as TERRACEOIL or TERRACE OIL AKVA , as well as with impregnating primer for wooden surfaces TEKSTURDEKOR BASE. There is also allowed overpainting wooden surfaces previously painted with alkyd enamels. However in this case it is necessary to carry out a test painting on a small surface area. After complete drying it is necessary to make sure of perfect adhesion between layers.

Technical data :

• Colour : A number of ready-made colour shades -11 : white (Base A), pearl white, yellow, mustard, red – brown, chestnut, dark brown, dark green, grey, dark grey and black color. White paint ( Base A) is used for tinting in light tones ; colorless ( Base C ) is used for making dark color shades. For tinting are used RILAKOLOR system.
• Drying time at +20ºC and relative air moisture 50 % / No more than 1 hour.
• Solids by weight, % 53 ± 5 , depending on the selected color shade.
• Coverage per coat:
  8 -11 m²/ l for painting planed boards,
  6-8 m²/ l for painting raw boards,
  10 –12 m²/ l for finishing surfaces previously painted with alkyd enamels
• Thinner: Water
• Application method: Brush, roller or spray. For airless spray the recommended nozzle diameter is 0,017 — 0,021″.

Usage

Paint preparation :
Stir carefully before use. If necessary thin with water : up to 5 % by volume when applied with brush or roller; up to 20 % by volume when applied by spray.

Surface preparation:
Before painting the surface must be dry, cleaned of grease ( oil stains ) and dirt. When painting old wooden surfaces, it is recommended to desinfect the surface with AKVASEPT solution. Wood moisture must not exceed 16 %.

Surface priming : Previously unpainted wooden surfaces are recommended to prime with conformable color shade impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT

Painting : Apply the paint in 1 – 2 layers if the temperature of air and surface to be painted not be less than + 50С and relative air humidity is not higher than 85 %.

Cleanig of tools: Clean working tools with water.

Storage : 36 months in tightly closed manufacturer’s container at temperature above +50C.
